Our work focuses on creating meaningful opportunities, supporting communities and encouraging people to participate in positive social development.
Strong communities are built when people have opportunities to participate, contribute and support one another.
Village Welfare Society's work is centred around community participation and initiatives that can contribute to education, healthcare, empowerment, environmental awareness and rural development.
Our aim is to bring people, resources and collective effort together around areas where meaningful community support can make a difference.

Since 1993, Anandam Old Age Home has provided a safe, loving, and dignified home to more than 350 abandoned and destitute elderly women. Today, 54 elderly women continue to receive nutritious meals, healthcare, emotional support, and the warmth of a family. Beyond residential care, Anandam also operates a Day Care Centre for elderly women from surrounding villages, offering mental health support, counselling, regular medical care, recreational activities, and social engagement. This community-based programme enables senior citizens to receive compassionate care while continuing to live within their own families and communities. At Anandam, every elderly woman is treated with dignity, respect, and love—because every mother deserves a life filled with care, not loneliness.
